Dr. Lisa Gower BMBS 1991, FRANZCR

Radiologist
Lisa trained in
Adelaide and completed her Fellowship in Women's and Paediatric Imaging at The
Women's and Children's Hospital in 1996. Lisa has worked in Private Practice
since 1997 and was previously a Visiting Medical Specialist at The Women's and
Children's Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and was a Staff
Radiologist at SKG Radiology in Perth. Lisa is experienced in Fertility
Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Ultrasound guided procedures
and Dental Imaging.
Cara Kirsten
Director
Cara is one of the founders of Sound Diagnostic Radiology. The driving force behind the creation of SDR was to provide quality medical imaging without compromising patient care. Cara has a background in clinical ultrasound, education and team management spanning more than 10 years. Her professional roles have included president of the Australian Sonographers Association, team leader in ultrasound at Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and thus has a passion for obstetrics and gynaecology imaging.
Nicole Sykes
General Manager
Nicole is a qualified sonographer with completed studies in Business Management. She has over 18 years clinical experience across a broad spectrum of modalities.
Nicole’s skill set and qualifications was an essential component to setting up Sound Diagnostic Radiology as a professional and class leader in private medical imaging. Her focus remains on overseeing all aspects of the business to ensure the practice provides a professional and caring service at all times.
Hooman Mansoori
Operations Manager
Hooman is a qualified radiographer graduating from The University of Sydney in 2001. Hooman’s clinical experience range from paediatric imaging, general radiography and CT imaging. In 2010 Hooman completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Adelaide. Hooman has been working in radiology management for the last 5 years. Hooman’s interests include paediatric imaging, digital imaging/Information technology, managerial finance and marketing. His unique skill set continues to assist SDR to grow and develop.
Kate Perkins
Chief Sonographer
Kate has over 12 years of clinical experience in both adult and paediatric imaging with a special interest in Women’s health, Paediatrics and MSK ultrasound. She is motivated to ensure that clinical education is carried out to the highest possible standard and helps to ensure that our staff are constantly pushing the boundaries of ultrasound in order to deliver high quality imaging standards to our referring doctors.
Kylie Cooper
Clerical Manager
Kylie has over 10 years experience working in private radiology, the past 5 as office/clerical manager. With a dedicated team of staff working alongside her at the reception desk, Kylie ensures the business runs professionally and always helpful to our patients. Kylie's extensive billing knowledge and Medicare requirements was an asset to the practice during the initial set up period and continues to keep us on top with the most up-to-date information.
Andrew Spurrier
Specialist Sonographer
Qualified in 1985, Andrew has dedicated his career to ultrasound and has specific interest in musculoskeletal and sports related injury, vascular assessment and rheumatology.
Andrew combines both clinical assessment and ultrasound to provide a more complete and professional service to our patients and their referrers. In addition he is also an avid lecturer providing information to our staff and our referrers here at Sound Diagnostic Radiology as well as at intra and interstate meetings.
Referrers are actively encouraged to attend specific cases.
